My Christian Life Enriched

I was born and raised in a Mennonite (a Christian religion) farming community in Belize. This conservative community was my small world. I attended a private elementary school until I was 13. Since that was all the community offered, my schooling stopped then. At age 19, I took high school by correspondence, after which I studied for my Associates Degree at college in a nearby city.

Being raised in a Christian home, my personal Christian life started in my early teens. About the same time, my family and I contacted the local churches. I must say that nothing better could have happened in my Christian life. My life became full of love for the Lord and for my fellow believers. This love made me want to give my whole life to the Lord.

The love and truth shared among the brothers and sisters in the local church provided me an excellent opportunity to know the Lord and to grow spiritually. In the meetings of the local church, passage after passage of the Bible became both clear and experiential to me.

Before this, I was very quiet and withdrawn, and it was quite rare that I spoke about the Lord to others. But since I began meeting with the local church, the riches of the Word have strengthened and emboldened me to speak on the Lord's behalf. Since I first began to meet with the local church, my love for the Lord, my love for all Christians, and my appreciation for the Bible has not ceased to grow.

Behold How Good!

In the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, I have heard Christ preached in a thorough and attractive way. Without even struggling for it, my love and desire for the Lord have increased. This ministry has also presented me with the truth of the Bible concerning God's desire and plan to have His family. Every believer born of God is one of His precious children. He desires that we would live in harmony as the household of God. On this oneness He bestows His blessing as in Psalm 133 - “Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”
